MAY YOU REST IN PEACE DEAR BROOKLYN

Brooklyn and another pup, Sadie were transported to MsGPR from a shelter in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where they had almost no chance of adoption. We found out when she got sick, that Brooklyn had Parvovirus, a completely preventable disease with a series of vaccines costing approximately $20.00 at any feed store. Brooklyn was only 6 months old. She was such a sweet, precious little girl and deserved a chance to have a long, wonderful life. From the shelter, we learned that Brooklyn was turned in by a young girl who found her wandering the streets, but could not keep her as a pet. That's really all we knew about her life before the shelter but in the short time she was with us she won our hearts. She was so full of love and enjoyment of life.
